1. What we collect
Purlin Automation Pvt. Ltd. ("Purlin Automation", "we") collects the information you send us through this website and, only if you allow analytics cookies, information about how you use the website.
1-1. Enquiry forms
- Your name, email address, mobile number and company (the mobile number is required so our sales team can call you back)
- Your requirement and any product details you enter (market, product, stroke, load, speed, duty cycle, quantity)
- Technical details sent automatically with the form: date and time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and browser type. We use these to prevent spam and abuse.
1-2. Newsletter sign-up
- Your first and last name, email address, mobile number, company, country, market segment and how you heard about us
- Your IP address and the time of sign-up, which we use to prevent spam sign-ups
1-3. Website analytics (only if you click "Accept all" or switch on Analytics)
- The pages you open, when, and how long you stay on each page
- The links and buttons you click (for example product links, download links, phone, email and WhatsApp links), with the page they were on. Nothing you type into a form is recorded.
- The website or campaign that sent you here (referrer and campaign tags)
- Your device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language and time zone
- Your IP address
- If you later send an enquiry or subscribe, your name, email address and mobile number are linked to your page visits and clicks so our sales team understands your interest. Without analytics consent this link is never made.
- We also keep one contact record per person (name, email, mobile number, company) so enquiries and sign-ups from the same person are kept together. You can ask us to delete it at any time (section 5).
This is stored in our own database, viewed only by authorised Purlin Automation staff through a password-protected admin page, and never sold or shared with advertisers. Without your consent none of it is recorded. We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and provide technical support
- To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your enquiry
- To send product news and updates if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To protect the website against spam, misuse and attacks
- With your consent: to understand which pages and products interest visitors and improve the website
4. Storage and security
Enquiries and sign-ups are stored in a protected database on our web server, which is not publicly accessible. The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship with you, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. After that we delete them. Website analytics are deleted automatically after 13 months, or immediately when you switch analytics off in Cookie settings. Only authorised staff can log in to view this data.
5. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct or update it
- Delete it, or stop sending you newsletters
- Answer a complaint about how we handled your data
